Ireland Robbed
I still can't get over how Ireland was robbed in World Cup qualification. In this day and age of instant replay and all the technology available to them why would FIFA rely solely on one referee on the field and a linesman on each side that apparently aren't able to see an obvious offside or a hand ball. Those crucial few seconds not only cost the Irish players a possible once in a lifetime chance at particpating in the World Cup but have also stripped the Republic of Ireland hundreds of millions of dollars in their future economy by cheating them out of a spot in the world's most watched sporting event.
A true shame, and I hope because of it changes are made.

Scotland Golf Trip 2010
St. Andrews here we come!
Well, after careful planning and the experience two previously planned golf trips to Bandon Dunes have taught me, I am very proud of the golf trip I have put together for Scotland in April 2010.
Seven other gentlemen have signed up to accompany me across the Atlantic to take on some of the greatest golf courses on this planet. We will be flying into Edinburgh on April 10, 2010 and from there taking our rental vans with a foursome in each up to the home of golf, St. Andrews. We will stay in this holy golf town for a couple of days playing the New course, which is that new by North American standards and the Old course, which will be hosting the British Open just a few months later in July.
Kingsbarns is another golf course that we will try before heading up the eastern coast to the small town of Cruden Bay and spending a night and day playing Cruden Bay Golf Links, which is ranked one of the 100 best courses in the world.
Our Scottish golf journey will then take us further north towards the Highlands where we will stop in and play a round at Moray Golf Club before continuing on to play one of the premier courses in the world, Royal Dornoch.
On April 17th reality will start to set in as we make our way back through the Scottish countryside to Edinburgh where we will stay before flying back home the next day in the early morning.
At this time of the year I always look forward to the start of the golf season in April, but this trip gives us oh so much more to look forward to.
Check back here often for golf trip photos and details for other upcoming golf trips as I like to plan and go on at least one golf trip every year in either April or October.
